The SLAM ends with the audience voting for their favorite story, crowning the StorySLAM winner! The theme for our September story slam was GOOSEBUMPS and featured seven storytellers. We heard stories about haunted houses, ghosts, and a psychotic cat who looked like Norman Bates. Our MC for the evening was our 2017 Grand Slam champ Eileen Joyce, who joined us from her parents’ home on Whidbey Island, Washington.
